1. Who we are

Velormo is a Travel Online Platform that aims to be not an ordinary "Travel App" where people can browse destinations, save places, mark visits, rate spots, encourage others to explore, share travel posts, make memories while traveling where their posts are not being burried by other random contents. This page explains what information the platform uses and why.

2. Information we collect

Account details: Email address, password (handled by Firebase Authentication), and display name if you set one.

Content you create: Places posts, photos, descriptions, ratings, reviews, saved places, visited places, your memories contents, and notes.

Place details: Titles, locations, categories, estimated entrance info, and map coordinates when they are included with a post.

Usage data: Basic analytics events that help us understand which pages are used.

Device/browser data: Settings stored on your device, such as whether you already saw the intro, or whether floating tools are hidden.

You can browse freely without an account. An account is needed for posting, saving, rating, notes, and memories.

3. How we use informations?

Create and manage your account.

Show your posts, ratings, saves, notes, and travel memories.

Let other travelers discover places the community shares.

Keep the website working, secure, and easier to use.

We use your Current location for some feature to work. For example, the view route feature to determine your location for you to know the route and time to a specifc place.

Respond to reports, questions, or support requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Photos and public posts

If you upload a place, that content can be visible to other visitors. Do not post private information, and only upload photos you have the right to share. Photos may be compressed so pages load faster.

5. Services we use

Google Firebase: Account sign-in, database storage, and analytics.

Maps and public sources: Location context may use services such as OpenStreetMap.

Translation and weather tools: Optional features that send only the text or place you request so the result can be shown to you.

6. Cookies and local storage

Velormo uses browser storage to remember simple preferences, such as the welcome intro and hidden-tool settings. You can clear this in your browser. The site may then show the intro again.

7. Your choices

Remove a place from Saved or Memories,

Edit or delete notes you stored,

Email velormo.official@gmail.com from your account email to request account deletion.

8. Children

Velormo is a general travel website and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, use the site with a parent or guardian, and we advice you to not post personal details such as your home address, school, or phone number.

9. Security and updates

We use Firebase Authentication to help protect accounts. Choose a strong password and do not share it. This policy may change when features change. The date at the top will be updated when that happens.
